Hola Hermano... Just finished The Skinny Years! I really enjoyed this story as it brought back so many old memories from my growing up years back home, my moving to USA, my personal experiences that paralleled parts of the story as you told them so very well. I had an Abuela like the one you created. She was awesome!
I hope you got hold of Oscar and that he also read the book.
Keep on writing.... you do it so well and with such passion.
