If I were to open a bookstore dedicated to Germanic literature in English and German, do you think I'd get a genius grant?

Or, let me put it this way: do you think it's a good thing the German-American Bund is a thing of the past?

If not, why not? If so, how are they different from, say, NCLR?

Just to be clear, the NCLR can't be compared to the Bund, soley because of the Bund's Nazi-leanings.

However, how do they differ from, say, the now defunct fraternal organizations put together by previous waves of immigrants, such as Finns and Poles?

Will the NCLR, too, fade away?
