Howls from the dogs of war

The potential for an incident of ethnic violence is growing every day. Below are reader responses to recent articles on immigration from the Washington Post. They are a chilling reminder of how dangerously virulent the anti-Hispanic rhetoric has become.

___________

They say, "we don't care if you build a wall or deport us. We will come anyway and keep coming because Mexico has no borders! And America will bow down to us in the end."

When it sounds like war, looks like war and smells like war, you don't have to taste it to know it is war.

To Hell with these the third world invaders, these reconquistas, and their disrepsect for our constitution, our laws, our nation and our sovreignty.

In the words of Paul Revere, "To Arms!"
___________

Shall we start with reconquista target practice at the open border or do we need to travel that far?
___________

Similar messages are appearing every day. When words this inflammatory are spread in a major newspaper it’s a sign the hate-mongers feel safe enough to emerge from the shadows. And that does not bode well for any of us.
